Have you heard about the new Tesla electric cars?

James asked:

Tesla motors is producing hybrid cars that are supposed to get 135 miles per gallon of gas. These aren’t cheap, small rebuilt cars. These are electric and hybrids that look like full size cars. Most people would love to cruise around without having to make frequent stops at gas stations. They would like to save a lot of money too. Although, the new Tesla hybrids and electrics are by no means inexpensive, they would be a great investment to anyone that could purchase one of them at a reasonable price. You can read more information about them at TeslaMotors.com.
BigMikeyB245, you are right. All of Tesla’s cars are electric. I was assuming that some of them were hybrids because of Tesla’s claim that the cars can get 135 miles per gallon of gas. An electric car would be a lot easier to service than a hybrid. The only problem with electric cars has been the horsepower. Most of them have not had much horsepower.

jo7hs2 asked:

I’ve noticed that pretty much every car with an automatic transmission and floor shifter made in the last 5-10 years has transitioned to a shifter that allows a shift into neutral without pushing the button on the shifter. Is there some reason why they started doing this?
