Are any new cars built with only one brake light?

I was wondering if anyone knows whether some of the newer cars/vehicles are built with just a single brake light which lights up at the back when pressure is applied to the brake pedal?

    Its not legal in the US.

    3 brake lights are required here for all passenger vehicles. It went into effect first for cars, then a few years later for light trucks.

    In at least some areas there is also a minimum distance between the two normal brake lights.
