When do the new body mods ( front and rear spoilers) take effect for nextel cup cars?

Just for a few races this year, starting at Bristol. Then full time next year I believe.

They already have and you will see the results at Daytona tomorrow. Sheesh.

If you mean the COT (The Car Of Tomorrow) then you will see these cars first race in Bristol. They are only running a few races this year for the COT.

It’s called the Car of Tomorrow, and it will be ran in these 16 races this year…

Infineon Raceway
Watkins Glen
Talladega [fall 2007]
In 2008 it will be raced in 26 races, then in 2009, it will be used on the whole schedule.

They test but it is up to NASCAR to set the date for them to be manditory.
