Most people can’t really afford it they just have a car payment for a long time.

New car is easy, wanted one, bought one. Rims… because no one ever likes the rims that come with the car. My car has stock rims and I like it that way.

Easy
1. Keep good credit by paying your bills on time
2. Save money to put down a significant down payment
3. Research Cars and know the difference between invoice price and MSRP (you generally want to get as close to invoice price as possible when you go to buy a car)
4. Don’t set your sites too high. For instance, if you earn somewhere between $35-45 grand a year, your car shouldn’t be more than 15-22 grand. Simple terms, no Mercedes or BMW when you are a team leader at Target. Stop with the Champagne wishes on a Kool-Aid budget. Hyundais are good for this budget as are Cavaliers and Sentras. They are also good cars
5. Buy a car. Haggle with the salesperson and don’t buy the car at the very 1st dealership you go to. Also, don’t stretch your terms for a smaller payment. This will only cost you in the long run.
6. Stick with Stock Rims. They are nice and most people could care less about Rims. Save the money that you would spend on Rims for a house. Its a better investment anyway.
