Mercedes Benz of Manhattan(they will rip ur pants off the cars cost so much). A nice R63 A.M.G would be greata little less than $90000 but its the only minivan on the road with over 500 horsepower. Ur kids will be very happy driving to school.

car dealer and NYC seem awkward in the same sentence.

I am an ex-New Yorker who lived in the city (Flushing in Queens County for nearly my entire life. I recall seeing the dealership in Jamaica, Queens (Koeppel, I think is the name) who had a very good reputation as a used car dealership. They were on Hillside Avenue, near 150th Street (or maybe it was 164th Street and Hillside?), if I recall correctly (it’s been a few years and things change and get hazy as time progresses). I hope that helps. Good luck in your search. Check the Queens Yellow Pages and I’m sure you’ll find it.

By the bye, there was a TV program starring Mr. T as a general fixer of problems who goes to various outfits to help them do business in a more profitable, friendly manner. I recall seeing Mr. T selling cars at Koeppel a few years ago (of course, he is not a regular car salesman), but at any rate, there’s that little side story.

What I recommend are two things:
Go on newyork.craigslist.org look there and when you find one BEFORE you buy it head out to Eddie’s auto mechnaic on Queens Boulevard right along the 7 line and have him check it out with the seller at hand- best thing you can do and will save you aggravation in the future

    OR

Head to Major World out on Northern Boulevard- ridiculos selection of cars for the city- as in THOUSANDS and pick one out- great credit options. My dad bought an E-Class Benz there and I almost got a gorgeous Jeep Cherokee- don’t get swindled- we bargained down thousands on the price- good luck
