I think if the government wants to bail out someone, they should bail out the people like me who are only in debt for like $45,000 or less. That would be a lot better than billions for a bailout that probably will not help. As you said, Americans cannot afford to buy new cars, so it would be wiser to help us all get out of debt so we can all afford to spend money on stuff like that again. The government DID give out stimulus checks, but my husband and I did not get one. They took the whole $1,200 for his back child support. I think that was not fair since the kid was not mine, I should have gotten my half of it, but I did not. Typical government!
